Philip Lythgoe
Philip Lythgoe qualified in 1988 and became a partner of JMW Solicitors in 1991. He was a founder partner of Maidments Solicitors and joined Cunninghams as a partner in 1998. He specialises in serious crime and supervises the specialist fraud department. He holds the Higher Courts (Criminal Proceedings) qualification entitling him to practice in all criminal courts in England and Wales. He sits on the Manchester Law Society Crown and Magistrates Court Committee.

David Caplin
David Caplin qualified at Cunninghams in 1993 becoming a partner in 1994. He is recognised as one of the leading lawyers in his field by Chambers directory of the UK legal profession. He sits on the Costs Appeals Assessment Committee and specialises in serious criminal offences.

The Chambers guide to the legal professional 2010 quotes David as “a masterful performer in heavyweight crime cases”. The Chambers guide to the legal profession 2008 quotes David as “a thorough and effective advocate - the sort of person you go to when you want a guarantee that the job will be done properly” and places him in the top tier of leading criminal lawyers. Chambers 2007 quoted David as "a copper-bottomed guarantee of reliability”. He holds the Higher Courts (Criminal Proceedings) qualification entitling him to practice in all criminal courts in England and Wales.

Adrian Palmer
Adrian Palmer qualified in 1994 and formed Hillis Palmer Solicitors in 1997. He joined Cunninghams in 2001 bringing a substantial client base with him and became a partner in 2005. He supervises the Magistrates Court department. He holds the Higher Courts (Criminal Proceedings) qualification entitling him to practice in all criminal courts in England and Wales.
